From the recent finale The Master describes good ol' planet Gallifrey: "Do you remember my father’s land back home? Pastures of red grass, stretching far across the slopes of Mount Perdition. We used to run across those fields all day, calling up at the sky."
I couldn't resist, the stuff practically draws itself.
And uhhhh... does this planet sound totally terrifying to anyone else?? No wonder they discovered time travel

Miss me?

Hey-o dudes, check out this blast from the past. Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I've been having trouble not hating everything I draw the past few weeks, so I decided to draw something kinda old-school. So have some classic Sophie/Bartram angst! They're old middleschool-epic characters of mine, so their stories have disintegrated to mostly nothing, but basically Bartram is crazy and Sophie is a fig-newton of his imagination. There's some pretty hilarious anatomy blunders in here but uhh, pretend you don't see them!

Cry me a river

I'm going home to PA for Xmas tomorrow and I have to work on freelance while I'm home. Cintiqs don't travel well, so I'm borrowing my roommate's laptop and dusting off my little tablet. I plugged it in to make sure it worked and.. oh my lord, awkward. It feels like I'm drawing with my FEET. Maaaan, hope I get used to it quick haha.

Gesture Drawings

So I've been attending the Tuesday night ASIFA sessions at SVA for the past 4 weeks, and it's quickly becoming the highlight of my week lol. Get Chipotle on 6th ave, then draw naked people for a couple hours! What could be better? Sadly tonight was the last one until sometime early Feb. But I'll be back for sure.

My first few sessions were spent shaking the rust off, and since scanning is a huge pain in the ass, I'll just share drawings from tonight. Our model was amazing, like he stepped out of a Loomis anatomy book. So much fun to draw!

Diet is still going well but there are certain things I'm having trouble with. Namely getting sick of everything I'm allowed to eat lol. If I see, smell, or even think about soup ever again I think I might puke haha oopsies
