Here is some fan art for Sym-Bionic Titan, which is... SO AMAZING. You really should be watching this show. Seriously. There's 11 episodes so far with (hopefully!) 9 more on the way sometime in the future.
The quality is fantastic, the characters are adorable, the story is fun, and its got aliens and robots!

November Highlights

So in my last post I mentioned I was trying to do a drawing a day for the month of November and then... never posted anything again! Haha well that wasn't very smart. I actually did ALMOST accomplish my goal, minus a handful of days over the Thanksgiving holiday where I was feeling lazy. Most of them are really embarrassingly bad, so here are a few that I don't hate. Which will just have to do!

Sketch November

October is over! Where did the time go??
Anyways, I'm trying to do a non-work-related sketch a day in November this year. I'm finished with my freelance and my nights are mercifully FREE once again!
However, yesterday I was stricken with the single worst headache I have ever had in my entire life. I really can't describe to you how debilitating it is/was. It was relentless, no drugs helped in the slightest, and sleep could not put a dent in it. I have been on the verge of teary-eyed madness all day long. I called in sick though, so I was able to stay home and writhe in misery in the comfort of my bed instead of a subway car. I am finally, 2 days later, feeling better.
And so, entry #1 is headache-related (and technically a day late)

Baseball Fun

Hello dear reader!
Sorry I've been scarce. Working 2 jobs leaves you with very little time. But certainly a better deal than the alternative, so I'll take the work!

It's that time of year again: When I annoy the shit out of everyone cheering for the Phillies in the post-season!! We have tickets to game 6 of the NCLS this Saturday in Philly and up til last night we weren't sure if there was gonna BE a game 6. But the Phils pulled through and now I can live the dream!!



Look for me on TV! I'll be the one wearing a Phillies shirt waving a towel! lol

Those of you who've ever had the privilege to use a cintiq for any length of time can attest to the fact that it is not only super awesome and convenient, but also seems to generate heat equivalent to that of a thousand burning suns right underneath your drawing arm. This by no means hinders the awesomeness of the cintiq, it just makes working from home in 100-degree weather super great.
Took a break from work to draw this. It's amazing what having other obligations will do for your desire to draw anything but what you're obligated to draw.

Bye Bye Lost

WELL Lost is over forever. I am legitimately bummed out about it today. That or I am hungover from all the Dharma beer we drank.
I celebrated in true nerd-fashion by baking fish biscuits and gathering a dozen fellow Losties together to watch and yell at the TV with me. The finale may have been less than stellar, but the party made up for it! haha.Anyways, I drew this earlier in the week in honor of my two new favorite people: Titus Welliver and Mark Pellegrino. Here everyone's favorite sentient smoke and the great island sage and eminent douchebag sort through their mommy issues. Inspired by this video ([link]) which is amazing, hilarious, holy crap watch it if you haven't already!

Taco Magic

True story. While getting tacos at El Vagabundo on 41st and Queens Blvd. (the best taco truck in all of New York, just sayin) he told me his tacos would give me POWERS. Then he asked me if I wanted ALL the powers. I said yes, ALL the powers. Except no radishes, please.

Running

So I've decided to take up running. Well, sort of. I couldn't run for more than 2 minutes max so I decided to start out slow using this program and it's been going really well! However tomorrow I have to step it up from running 1min intervals to 2min intervals and I think I might have a heart attack

Life Drawing 3/18

Snow and scheduling conflicts kept me away from life drawing for a few weeks, so I was psyched to finally go back on Thursday night. Was expecting to be all kind of rusty, but the stars were aligned or something and I had a pretty awesome night!
Yet another really good model. Totally beautiful, a joy to draw.
